Sarah & Iain’s Wedding at Pendley Manor
A personal Pendley Manor wedding with emotional speeches and garden portraits
Sarah and Iain’s wedding at Pendley Manor was a relaxed, personal celebration filled with warmth, humour, and heartfelt moments. Having already photographed their engagement session at Tring Park, it was great to spend the day documenting their wedding, from morning preparations through to an emotional ceremony, brilliant speeches, and a joyful evening celebration.

The Wedding Day
I had been looking forward to Sarah and Iain’s wedding, having previously photographed them on their engagement session at Tring Park. My coverage began with Sarah getting ready in the bridal suite at Pendley Manor.
Sarah was joined by her mum and her two bridesmen, Josh and Warren, who did a fantastic job of keeping the mood light and the tea and Champagne flowing throughout the morning. It was a relaxed and enjoyable start to the day, with plenty of natural moments to capture.
The wedding ceremony took place in the Oak Room. Iain looked sharp in a blue suit with a red cravat, and Sarah looked incredible as she walked down the aisle with her proud dad. The ceremony was warm and full of emotion, setting the tone for the rest of the day.
After the ceremony, we made use of Pendley Manor’s gardens for some relaxed couple portraits before capturing a few group photos. I then headed inside to photograph the Oak Suite set up for wedding breakfast, focusing on the details and atmosphere before guests were seated.
Speeches are always one of my favourite parts of the day to photograph, and Sarah and Iain’s did not disappoint. Speeches were given by Sarah’s dad, her bridesmen, Iain’s brother Josh who was best man, and both Iain and Sarah themselves. One of my favourite moments came during Sarah’s dad’s speech, when Sarah was presented with a photo of her dog dressed up for the occasion. Her reaction was priceless and one of my favourite images from the day.
With the weather being perfect, I took Sarah and Iain back outside for a few more portraits in the grounds before everyone moved into The Peacock Lounge.
The evening celebrations continued in the Oak Suite, finishing with a beautiful first dance and a packed dance floor. It was a brilliant end to a genuinely lovely wedding day.
