About Me

Andy Sidders - Buckinghamshire Wedding Photographer

Hi, I’m Andy, and I’m a wedding photographer based in Buckinghamshire.

To let you know a little about me, I live in the village of Cheddington with my wife Katie, my two children, Oliver (aged 4) and Lucy (aged 1½) and my cat Mylo.

I’ve been photographing weddings since 2013. Before I was a wedding photographer, I worked as a freelance website designer. Website design led to me picking up my first DSLR camera to offer my website clients an additional photography service. I soon realised I preferred being out and about with my camera rather than being stuck at a computer coding websites, so I continued to develop my photography skills spending increasing amounts of time watching tutorials on YouTube and then by assisting a few local wedding photographers.

I was soon asked to photograph my first wedding which was a very wet August bank holiday wedding at Lillibrooke Manor. The wedding went very well and led to more weddings including the wedding of one of the bridesmaids. So far I’ve been lucky enough to cover 100+ weddings, including destination weddings in Barcelona and Ireland.

Along with weddings I also enjoy sports and gig photography.

My sports photography highlights have included photographing a couple of seasons of BBL Basketball for the London Lions, photographing boxing and photographing some very muddy OCR races.

My gig photography highlights have included photographing the Isle of Wight Festival and photographing a couple of my favourite bands Ash and Biffy Clyro!

My real passion is weddings. My style of wedding photography is mainly documentary; It sounds cliché, but I love capturing all the emotions of a wedding a day. I like to think I’m a hard-working wedding photographer. While taking portraits, I can often be spotted lying on the ground at a wedding to get a different perspective and the perfect shot!

Please take a look at my wedding photography portfolio to get a feel for my work. If you think I could be the right wedding photographer for you, please get in touch!
