Charlotte & Justin’s Wedding at Pendley Manor
Elegant ceremony, playful reception, and a sparkler finish
Charlotte & Justin’s wedding took place at Pendley Manor Hotel in Tring, a classic Hertfordshire venue that works beautifully for elegant ceremonies and lively receptions. From bridal prep in the Manor, an emotional Oak Room ceremony, and confetti on the staircase, to relaxed garden portraits, bouncy castle fun, speeches in the Harcourt Ballroom, and a sparkler send-off to finish the night, their day was full of personality and energy.

The Wedding Day
On a beautiful summer day, Charlotte and Justin exchanged vows at the picturesque Pendley Manor Hotel in Tring, Hertfordshire. The venue, a stunning Grade-II listed manor, provided the perfect setting for the couple’s special day.
The bride, Charlotte, got ready with all her bridesmaids in the bridal suite at the hotel, while the groom, Justin, got ready at home before arriving at the venue in a classic Aston Martin. The ceremony, held in the Oak Room, was a beautiful and emotional occasion, with Charlotte’s dad looking particularly proud as he walked his daughter down the aisle.
After the ceremony, with the help of toastmaster Simon Shirley, I took a confetti shot and then a group shot of the newlyweds and all their guests standing on the stairs that lead to the Harcourt Ballroom. During the reception, guests were entertained with a bouncy castle and swing ball. During this period, I took more group portraits in the hotel’s picturesque grounds and then some couple portraits.
The wedding breakfast was served in the Harcourt Ballroom. The couple had scratch cards as wedding favors and it was great capturing the reactions around the room as guests celebrated their small winnings. After the meal, speeches were given by the father of the bride, the groom, and the groom’s eldest son, who was the best man.
Following speeches, I took more portraits of the couple this time using the front of the manor house and the magnificent staircase.
The evening entertainment saw a packed dance floor. My coverage finished with a sparkler shot of the couple walking through a channel of their cheering guests, all waving sparklers. It was a great way to end my coverage of the day.
As a wedding photographer, it was an honor to be a part of Charlotte and Justin’s special day at the beautiful Pendley Manor Hotel.
