Charlotte & Carlo’s Wedding at The National History Museum in Tring
From Tring church vows to a tipi celebration at the Natural History Museum
Charlotte & Carlo’s wedding day began with a church ceremony at Corpus Christi Church, Tring, before everyone headed to the grounds of Tring Natural History Museum for a tipi wedding reception. From morning prep in Tring, a confetti-filled exit from the church, portraits overlooking Tring Park, and sheltering together in the tipi on a blustery day, their wedding had a relaxed, personal feel with a few wonderfully unexpected photo moments inside the museum itself.

The Wedding Day
My coverage began at Charlotte’s parents’ house in Tring, where she and her sisters were getting ready together. It was a calm, family-focused morning, and once ready Charlotte travelled to the church in a classic white London cab from Berkhamsted White Wedding Taxis.
The ceremony at Corpus Christi Church was lovely and personal, with readings from Charlotte’s sisters and Carlo’s brother. After the ceremony, guests showered the newlyweds in confetti as they exited the church, creating some joyful, celebratory moments.
Guests made the short walk over to Tring Natural History Museum, while Charlotte and Carlo and I headed to the back of Tring Park in their wedding car. We took advantage of the elevated views across Tring for a few relaxed portraits before heading back to the museum grounds for the reception.
The tipi reception took place on the museum grounds. With the weather turning wet and windy, everyone stayed tucked inside for most of the afternoon, creating a cosy, sociable atmosphere. When the rain eased briefly, we took the opportunity to get everyone outside for one large group photo.
After the wedding breakfast, we were able to make use of the museum itself for a short portrait session. One of my favourite images from the day was taken in the zebra gallery, a completely unique backdrop that made their portraits truly one of a kind.
