The Wedding Day
As a wedding photographer, I have the privilege of capturing some of the most special moments in people’s lives. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Danielle and Josh’s wedding at Northchurch Baptist Church in Berkhamsted, followed by their reception at Pendley Manor in Tring. It was a day filled with love, joy, and beautiful memories.
My coverage of the day began at Northchurch Baptist Church, where I arrived early to capture the excitement and anticipation as Josh greeted his wedding guests as friends and family gathered to celebrate this special occasion. Soon after, Danielle arrived with her father in the wedding car.
The ceremony was a truly beautiful experience. The entire congregation was fully immersed in the ceremony, singing hymns and feeling the power of the words. It was incredible to be in a room filled with so much energy. The exchange of vows and rings was a heartfelt moment, followed by a laying of hands where the congregation symbolically supported the couple during prayer.
As the ceremony concluded, Danielle and Josh joyfully whizzed down the aisle as husband and wife. Afterwards there was time for bit of cake and nibbles in the Church before moving on to Pendley Manor for their wedding reception.
The couple made their way to the peacock lounge for drinks and canapes, where they were able to relax and enjoy some time with their guests. We then took group photos out on the beautiful lawn before capturing a few portraits of Danielle and Josh.
The couple had selected the Oak Room at Pendley Manor for their wedding breakfast. The room was filled with laughter and joy as everyone enjoyed delicious food and heartfelt speeches from loved ones. After the meal, I had the opportunity to take a few more portraits of Danielle and Josh on the grand staircase, a must have photo for any wedding at Pendley Manor.
Overall, it was a truly lovely wedding to be a part of, especially the ceremony, it was an honour to capture these precious moments for Danielle and Josh. Congratulations to the happy couple.
