Church vows, and Chiltern Hills portraits
Teresa & Hugo’s wedding day began at their flat in Aylesbury before heading to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for their ceremony, followed by portraits overlooking the Chiltern Hills at Coombe Hill. From quiet moments during prep and rooftop portraits, to rice and flower confetti outside the church and relaxed couple photos in the countryside, their day was calm, personal, and full of genuine connection.

The Wedding Day
My coverage of Teresa and Hugo’s wedding day began with prep coverage at Teresa and Hugo’s flat in Aylesbury. I photographed Teresa as she had her hair and makeup done, and the details of her beautiful wedding dress. Hugo had been hidden away in a bedroom, so I also took a few portraits of him there before heading up on to the roof of their flats for some more portraits.
The ceremony took place at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Aylesbury, which was a modern church with bright interiors. As they exited the church, the newlyweds were showered with rice and flowers by their guests, which made for a lovely moment.
After the ceremony, I took group portraits of the newlyweds and their guests in the shade within the church grounds. Then, we made our way to Coombe Hill for a few more portraits of the couple with the stunning backdrop of the Chiltern Hills.
