If you’re looking for natural, relaxed photography that fits around the day, I’d love to hear what you’re planning.
The Wedding Day
Lucy and Mark’s socially distanced wedding at Stourhead in August was my first wedding of 2020. Lucy and Mark had held out hope that their wedding day would be able to go ahead and were rewarded as it was announced that restrictions were to be reviewed, allowing up to 30 guests to attend a wedding ceremony and reception.
Lucy and Mark had chosen Stourhead as their wedding venue, as Lucy had fond memories of visiting Stourhead with her grandparents when she was younger, so it had a special place in her heart.
Stourhead is an estate owned by the National Trust and is home to a stunning landscaped garden with a magnificent lake, temples and mystical grottoes. If you are a National Trust member, I would highly recommend a visit!
Lucy and Mark had an outdoor wedding ceremony at The Temple of Apollo. The Temple is an amazing setting for a wedding, with stunning views overlooking Stourhead’s lake.
Following the ceremony, everyone enjoyed drinks and canapes by the Temple before heading to the courtyard and The Spread Eagle Inn for a sit-down meal wedding reception.
It was a lovely wedding to be part of and I was so happy to be back out doing what I love, photographing weddings!
Many congratulations to Lucy & Mark!
