Rosie & Pepsi’s Wedding at Oakley Court

My coverage began in the morning with groom prep at Pepsi’s family home, where he was getting ready alongside his dad. The house was full of family, and there were lots of meaningful Sikh traditions taking place. One of the most striking moments was Pepsi wearing a traditional headpiece with beaded fabric covering his face, a powerful and symbolic part of the preparations and something I was keen to document carefully and respectfully.

The ceremony took place at St Mary’s Church in Henley-on-Thames. It’s a large and beautiful church, and the grounds were looking particularly stunning with cherry blossom in bloom. I photographed the ceremony from the aisle towards the back of the church, capturing the atmosphere, reactions, and the scale of the setting as Rosie and Pepsi exchanged vows.

After the ceremony, guests made their way to Oakley Court in Windsor for the wedding reception. The marquee was set up within the grounds, with the River Thames running alongside and the impressive mansion house providing a perfect backdrop for portraits. We took photos along the edge of the river and in front of Oakley Court itself, making the most of the scenery and the light.

At the start of the marquee reception, one of my favourite moments of the day took place, the Sikh tradition of the two families meeting and playfully trying to lift one another. It was full of laughter, energy, and great reactions, exactly the kind of moment I love capturing.

As the evening went on, the marquee filled up quickly and the dance floor stayed packed. The atmosphere was electric, with guests fully embracing the celebrations and dancing late into the night. It was a joyful, high-energy wedding from start to finish.
