Joanna & Marc’s Wedding at Notley Tythe Barn
Outdoor vows, golden hour portraits, and a lively barn evening
Joanna & Marc’s spring wedding took place at Notley Tythe Barn, with an outdoor ceremony followed by relaxed celebrations inside the barn. From bridal prep at home and a classic car arrival, to sunlit vows outdoors, golden hour portraits near the dovecote, speeches full of laughter, and a Greek money dance that kicked off the evening, their day felt warm, personal, and full of atmosphere.

The Wedding Day
Joanna and Marc’s spring wedding at Notley Tythe Barn was a truly magical and memorable day. The Buckinghamshire wedding venue, provided the perfect setting for the couple’s special day, with its rustic charm and picturesque surroundings.
The day began with Joanna getting ready at home, surrounded by her loved ones, including her two bridesmaids. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as the bride and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Joanna made a grand entrance to the wedding venue in a classic car, adding a touch of vintage elegance to the day.
After lots of weather watching, the couple’s dream came true, and the ceremony took place outside. The sun was shining, and it stayed dry throughout the ceremony. It was a beautiful and emotional moment, and I enjoyed capturing all the hugs and congratulations after the ceremony.
One of our favorite parts of the day was taking portraits of the couple outside in the beautiful golden light. We walked up to the dovecote for some of the portraits, and the couple looked stunning against the backdrop of the picturesque scenery.
The wedding breakfast and speeches took place in the barn, which provided a cozy and intimate setting. The speeches were filled with laughter and it was clear to see the love and connection between the couple and their loved ones.
As the evening celebrations began, the couple’s first dance was followed by the Greek money dance. It was a great fun way to get the party started, and the guests had a fantastic time participating.
It was a privilege to be a part of Joanna and Marc’s special day and I wish them all the happiness in the world in their future together. Notley Tythe Barn proved to be the perfect venue for a spring wedding, and I am grateful for the opportunity to capture all the beautiful memories.
