Julia & Kristian’s Wedding in Wingrave

Intimate church vows, village green moments, and countryside portraits

Julia & Kristian’s wedding day centred around a heartfelt ceremony at St Peter & St Paul’s Church in Wingrave, followed by an intimate celebration at their family home nearby. After having to adapt their original plans, they created a day that felt calm, personal, and focused on what mattered most, from quiet church vows to relaxed portraits on the village green and in a golden barley field close to home.

The Wedding Day

Julia and Kristian’s wedding at St Peter & St Paul’s Church in Wingrave was a beautiful and intimate affair. The couple had originally planned a larger wedding with all of their friends and family, but when Kristian tested positive for COVID just a few days before the original wedding date, they had to quickly adjust their plans.

Despite the setback, Julia and Kristian were determined to make their wedding day special and put together a plan for a church ceremony and an intimate reception at their family home in Wingrave. They invited only their closest family and friends to the ceremony, which was held at St Peter & St Paul’s Church.

The couple exchanged vows in front of their loved ones. After the ceremony, we walked to the village green for some group photos before the guests made their way to the family home for the reception.

While the guests celebrated at the reception, I had the opportunity to take some beautiful portraits of the newlyweds on the village green and then in a golden barley field close to the family home. It was a perfect backdrop for their portraits. After the portraits the couple went back to their family home to continue their celebrations with their loved ones. It was an honour to be a part of their special day and I wish them all the best in their future together.
