Bride and groom walking down the ailse at the end of their church wedding in Totteridge

Juliette & Alex’s Wedding in Totteridge

A relaxed Totteridge wedding with standout personal touches

Juliette & Alex’s wedding day began with a church ceremony at St Andrew’s Church, before celebrations continued with a marquee reception at Totteridge Cricket Club. From relaxed prep at home, bell ringing and confetti outside the church, a steel-drum-led walk to the reception, and a Poirot impersonator hosting the day, to handcrafted marquee details and a high-energy evening party, their wedding was full of personality and atmosphere.

The Wedding Day

Juliette and Alex had a church wedding at St Andrew’s Church and celebrated afterwards with a marquee wedding reception at Totteridge Cricket Club.

My coverage of the wedding began at Juliette and Alex’s house in Totteridge where Juliette was getting her makeup done.

I then head to the church where I met Alex as he greeted his guests.

The wedding ceremony was lovely, at the end of the service the newly weds rang the church bells and then head outside where they and were congratulated by all of their guests. It was lovely to be back photographing so many hugs again!

After a confetti shot the newly weds led a procession of their wedding party to their wedding reception at Totteridge Cricket Club. They were accompanied by two steel drummers who entertained us on the short walk/dance to the reception.

Juliette is a massive Agatha Christie fan so she had hired a Poirot impersonator to welcome the guests and act as master of ceremonies for the day.

Guests enjoyed a relaxed drinks reception before heading into the marquee for wedding breakfast.
The marquee was beautifully decorated with large hand crafted paper flowers that Juliette and Alex had been painstakingly making for the past few months. There were also beautiful ribbons of flowers hanging from the top of the marquee.

The evening saw a fantastic party with guests drinking Jägerbombs, and lots of crazy dancing.
