Aisling & James’ wedding day began with a heartfelt church ceremony at Holy Rood Church, Watford, before everyone headed to Tewinbury for a relaxed summer celebration. From a choir of schoolchildren singing during the ceremony, to shaded drinks in the heat, speeches in the Tythe Barn, and evening portraits as the temperature dropped, their day balanced emotion, personality, and atmosphere beautifully.

Aisling and James’ wedding was a beautiful celebration on a scorching August day, with temperatures reaching 34℃. Aisling got ready at her parent’s house  before making her way to the ceremony at Holy Rood Church in Watford.

Holy Rood Church is a beautiful, historic church in the heart of Watford. It is a traditional stone building with beautiful stained-glass windows. The ceremony was made even more special by Aisling’s profession as a primary school teacher, as she had invited her class to the ceremony where they sang during the beginning of the ceremony and during Holy communion.

After the ceremony, I captured a confetti shot in the gardens of the church hall. Guests then made their way to Tewin Bury Farm for the wedding reception.

To keep cool in the heat, guests enjoyed drinks in the shade. I took group shots in the shade and captured the joy and laughter of the guests.

The wedding breakfast was held in the Tythe Barn, followed by speeches that were both heartfelt and hilarious.

As the day cooled down in the early evening, I took couple portraits of Aisling and James in the grounds of Tewinbury. The party continued into the evening with a live band performing, providing the perfect soundtrack to the celebration.
