Niamh & Jesse’s Wedding at De Vere Latimer Estate

From church vows to a high-energy evening at De Vere Latimer Estate

Niamh & Jesse’s wedding day began with a church ceremony at Croxley Green Baptist Church, before everyone headed to De Vere Latimer Estate for a relaxed and energetic celebration. From bridal prep in Watford and a joyful ceremony full of personality, to vintage car portraits on arrival, candid moments during the drinks reception, laugh-out-loud speeches, and a packed evening dance floor with a DJ and dhol drummer, their day had a brilliant mix of warmth, humour, and atmosphere.

The Wedding Day

My coverage of Niamh and Jesse’s wedding day began with bridal prep at Niamh’s parents’ home in Watford. It was a relaxed start to the day, with plenty of excitement building as everyone got ready.

The wedding ceremony took place at Croxley Green Baptist Church and was a lovely, warm service. My standout memory from the ceremony was Niamh’s niece, who completely stole the show by dancing and running around during the sermon. It was one of those moments that added so much personality to the day and made everyone smile.

After the ceremony and lots of congratulatory hugs, guests moved next door to the church hall for tea, coffee, and a bite to eat before heading on to the main reception.

Niamh and Jesse arrived at De Vere Latimer Estate in a vintage Beauford wedding car. On arrival, I took portraits of the newlyweds with the car before heading into the grounds for some relaxed couple portraits around the estate.

During the drinks reception, guests were entertained by a fantastic sitar player, which created a brilliant atmosphere and plenty of great candid moments. The speeches followed, given by the father of the bride, the groom, and the best man. They were all hilarious, which made my job very easy, capturing loads of laughter and big reactions.

As the evening got going, the energy ramped up with a DJ and dhol drummer entertaining guests. The dance floor quickly filled, with dance-offs breaking out between the men and women, making for a fun and lively end to the day.

Many congratulations to Niamh and Jesse. It was a pleasure to capture such a joyful wedding day.
