An outdoor wedding ceremony at Chenies Manor

Abi & Martin’s Wedding at Chenies Manor

Garden ceremonies, relaxed games, and a lively evening party

Abi & Martin’s wedding day took place at Chenies Manor, a Grade I listed Tudor manor in Buckinghamshire. From bridal prep in Chorleywood and getting ready at the manor, to an outdoor garden ceremony, hugs and congratulations, games on the lawn, heartfelt speeches in the Garden Room, and a packed dance floor to finish, their day was full of warmth, humour, and real moments.

The Wedding Day

As a Buckinghamshire wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing some of the most beautiful and memorable weddings. Abi and Martin’s wedding at the Tudor Grade I listed Chenies Manor was one of the most stunning weddings I have had the honour to capture. I’m excited to share some of the highlights of their special day.

The day started with me photographing Abi’s bridal prep at their home in Chorleywood before heading to Chenies Manor to get into her wedding dress. The location itself was breathtaking, with the beautiful Tudor Grade I listed manor house as a stunning backdrop for their special day.

The outdoor ceremony was held in the beautiful gardens, with a view of the manor house behind them. I enjoyed capturing the giggles throughout the ceremony, as well as the moments of pure joy and love between Abi and Martin.

After the ceremony, there were lots of hugs of congratulations to capture, which were fantastic to photograph. The couple had hired crazy golf for the reception, which made for some excellent photographs. I love capturing receptions where there are games for guests, as it adds a lot of fun and excitement to the photos.

I took group portraits in the beautiful gardens and then just a few couple portraits, which were absolutely stunning due to the beautiful gardens.

The wedding breakfast was served in The Garden Room, and the speeches at the end of the meal were a highlight of the day. Martin announced that Abi was expecting their first child, and everyone was over the moon for them.

The evening celebrations saw a lively dance floor in The Garden Room, with lots of crazy dancing. It was an incredible celebration, and I’m honoured to have been a part of it.

Overall, Abi and Martin’s wedding at Chenies Manor was an unforgettable day. It was a joy to capture the love and joy of the couple’s special day. • Unobtrusive, yet captured every part of the day

Andy photographed our wedding at Chenies Manor in August. He was fantastic from start to finish, unobtrusive, yet he captured every part of the day beautifully. We would highly recommend him.

FAQs

Yes. I’ve photographed weddings at Chenies Manor and know how the gardens, ceremony spaces, and Garden Room work across the day.

Absolutely. The gardens provide a beautiful setting for outdoor vows and work brilliantly for relaxed, natural photography.

The gardens offer lots of great options, and I keep portraits short and relaxed so you’re not away from your guests for long.

I do. Most couples book around 10 hours, which usually covers speeches and a good amount of evening atmosphere. Extra hours can be added if you’d like me to stay later.
