Steph & Greg’s wedding day began with a church ceremony at Church of Our Lady and St Peter, followed by a relaxed and lively reception at Sunday Box Hill Burford Bridge Hotel. From groom prep at the hotel and bridal prep with friends, to confetti outside the church, portraits at Box Hill, sunset photos by the pool, and a packed dance floor in the evening, the day flowed naturally and made the most of every part of the setting.

As a passionate Burford Bridge wedding photographer, I was ecstatic to capture the beautiful moments of Steph and Greg’s special day at the Church of Our Lady and St Peter in Leatherhead, followed by an enchanting reception at the Mercure Box Hill Burford Bridge Hotel. My journey with this amazing couple started back in 2022 when they were part of the bridal party at Maia & Matt’s wedding at Stowe House, another event I had the pleasure of photographing.

The wedding day began with the groom prep at the Mercure Box Hill Burford Bridge Hotel. Here, I captured candid moments of Greg and his groomsmen sharing laughs and tying their ties, all while enjoying a pint of Guinness – a perfect start to the day!

Next, I headed over to the bridal suite to photograph Steph and her bridesmaids. The air was filled with excitement and joy as they had their final makeup touches. Capturing these light-hearted moments in the bridal suite was truly a delightful experience.

The ceremony took place at the stunning Our Lady and St Peter’s church. The love and emotions in the church were palpable, making it a heartfelt ceremony to photograph.

Post-ceremony, I orchestrated a vibrant confetti shot outside the church, adding to the joyous atmosphere. Steph and Greg then made their stylish exit in a classic Beauford wedding car, a moment that was both elegant and timeless.

Our next destination was Box Hill for some portrait sessions. Despite the crowd due to the lovely sunny day, we managed to capture some breathtaking portraits set against the scenic backdrop of Box Hill.

Upon arriving at the reception venue, I focused on candid photography, capturing the essence of the celebration. Group photos with the bride and groom’s family and friends were also part of the mix, adding to the day’s memories.

Before the wedding breakfast, we seized the opportunity for a few quick sunset portraits in the grounds of the Mercure Box Hill Burford Bridge Hotel, utilizing the outdoor swimming pool for an unusual and striking backdrop.

The wedding breakfast was served in a beautifully decorated barn, creating an intimate and warm setting. The speeches that followed were heartfelt and humorous, and the wedding cake, made by the bride’s mum, was not only a visual treat but also absolutely delicious.

The evening was brought to life with a wedding band that filled the dance floor. Capturing these lively moments was a joy, as everyone celebrated Steph and Greg’s love.
