Potten End Wedding Photography – Katie & Keith

Katie & Keith’s had their wedding at Hemel Hempstead Methodist Church and it was followed by their wedding reception at Potten End Village Hall.

My coverage of the wedding day started with Keith as he prepared for the day. Keith had hired a canal barge to stay in the night before the wedding after a few photos of Keith I then went to meet up with Katie at her parent’s house. I took a few portraits of Katie and then together with her Dad brother we head to the church in a vintage bus.

The wedding ceremony was at Hemel Hempstead Methodist Church and was followed by tea and biscuits in the church hall. Everyone then made their way to Potten End Village Hall for the wedding reception. The village hall was beautifully decorated with lanterns and looked fantastic with long banquet tables set up for afternoon tea. During the reception, I took group photos Katie and Keith and their wedding guests on the village green and took portraits of the newlyweds by the pond and by a tree that was planted by Katie’s Grandad. I also photographed Katie and Keith during a Chinese Tea Ceremony.

What made the pictures stand out was that he was able to capture the happiness of the day, both in the formal and more informal pictures.

Andy was also great at putting us at ease. We opted to have a pre-wedding shoot which is a great way of getting to know him and we learnt how to pose and relax in front of the camera before the big day!

Also, we opted for a photo album and are very pleased with it. Andy gave us the option to edit the pictures and their layout. The finished product is great, very nice quality, both the pages and the binding.
Would we recommend him? Absolutely!
