Hitchin Priory Wedding – Jo & Paul

Jo and Paul’s wedding at Hitchin Priory was a great fun wedding day to capture. Hitchin Priory is a great wedding venue located in Hertfordshire. It was the perfect setting for Jo & Paul’s wedding day.

Jo got ready at the venue, with her hair styled by ‘Hair by Lois’ and she then did her own makeup. Paul and his sons got ready at home and then traveled to Hitchin Priory in a stretched limo.

The ceremony was held outdoors. It was a windy day with rain showers forecast but thankfully the couple decided to go ahead with the ceremony outside. The space was decorated by ‘Fleur De Lace’ with beautiful flowers and the aisle was decorated with pompoms.

After the ceremony, guests had a great time playing garden games, including tin can alley and quoits. I took group portraits of the bride and groom with their family and then a few couple portraits before everyone head into the marquee.

Guests were given scratch cards as wedding favors, which was a great idea! Everyone scratched them off at the same time. There followed a few cheers as a few guests won a few pounds.

The speeches were lovely. The groom’s young son was amazing. He gave a best man speech, which was one of the best speeches that I have seen.

The evening saw a packed dance floor, which was great fun to capture. The guests had a great time celebrating Jo and Paul’s love, and it was an honor to be a part of their special day. I wish them all the best in their future together.
