Rachel and Frank tied the knot at Oxford Town Hall before heading to their wedding reception at Wolvercote Village Hall.
My day started photographing guests greeting each over as they arrived at the ceremony venue.
Oxford Town Hall Wedding Photography
Oxford Town Hall is a stunning venue for civil marriage ceremonies and wedding receptions in the heart of Oxford.
It has several rooms available for hire and can accommodate up to 300 wedding guests.
Rachel and Frank’s civil ceremony took place in the Old Library, a lovely intimate venue featuring an open timber roof and stained glass windows.
The wedding service was lovely. Rachel and Frank were in fits of nervous laughter throughout. My favorite moment was after the first kiss, Rachel, ecstatically threw her thumbs up in the air. The signing of the register was also a highlight, Rachel and Frank couldn’t stop making each other laugh.
Following the service I took a few portraits of the couple on the streets near the Town Hall before everyone head to the wedding reception at Wolvercote Village Hall.
Wolvercote Village Hall
The hall was decorated with hanging lanterns and looked amazing. Guests sat down to wedding breakfast and were entertained by a hilarious speech by the best man and a raffle run by Frank and Rachel which featured amazing prizes including a bottle of Iron Bru and a one of a kind, signed photo of the happy couple!
The evening ended with a packed dance floor as guests enjoyed a ceilidh.
Rachel and Frank were an absolute pleasure to photograph. I’d like to wish them both a very happy married life full of laughter.
