Leila & Matt's Wedding at Trinity Buoy Wharf

Leila and Matt’s had a Trinity Buoy Wharf wedding in November 2018. Trinity Buoy Wharf is a fantastic London wedding venue on the banks of the River Thames a mile East of Canary Wharf. The venue has loads of character and charm as it was the space of a former working dock.

My coverage of the wedding day began with Matt I captured portraits of Matt around the venue and photographed guests as they arrived for the wedding. The wedding ceremony took place in The Electrician’s Shop, which looked fantastic with fairy lights decorating the bare brick walls.

As Leila and Matt had opted for a late ceremony, there wasn’t much time before night time drew in. So after the ceremony, I quickly whisked the newlyweds away for a few portraits. Trinity Buoy Wharf has some fantastic locations for portraits, with plenty of brightly coloured shipping containers which make for great backdrops. We also made use of the Lighthouse, which is London’s only lighthouse.

The wedding reception was in The Chainstore, which is a warehouse with unrivalled views of the river Thames, the O2 Arena. The room looked amazing and was setup with banqueting tables ready for wedding breakfast.

The evening was rounded off with a live band and plenty of dancing!
