Islington Town Hall Wedding Photographer

Islington Wedding Photographer

Jo had a London wedding with their wedding ceremony taking place in Islington Town Hall and wedding reception in the Peasant in Clerkenwell.

My wedding photography coverage of Jo and Sam’s big day began with Jo, her bridesmaids and her flower girls at an Air BNB flat that Jo had rented for the wedding. Jo looked stunning in a dress from Love Me Do Brides.

When everyone was ready we took London Black Cabs to Islington Town Hall for the ceremony.

On arrival at the Town Hall, I took a few portraits of the groom, Sam and then prepared for the start of the ceremony.

The wedding ceremony was lovely. The bridal procession of Jo’s four bridesmaids and four flower girls started the ceremony and Jo followed walking down the aisle with her Dad.

There were a few giggles throughout the ceremony and interruptions along the way when Hattie, Jo and Sam’s daughter (and chief flower girl) started crawling at the feet of Jo and Sam during the vows. Jo and Sam’s son Freddie also helped as ring bearer.

Following the ceremony, Jo and Sam were congratulated by there guests who all then made their way out the front of Islington Town Hall and onto the stairs ready for a confetti shot.

The dining room at the Peasant was beautifully decorated it already is such a colourful and vibrant room but Jo and Sam had added to this with beautiful flowers and colourful paper fortune tellers as their wedding favours.

Speeches were given by the Father of the bride, Sam and Sam’s brother who was best man. Sam’s other brother also helped as compere for the day.

The evening party was great fun. Entertainment was provided by The Wandering Hands a covers band who wandered around the room, taking requests and performing to different groups. Congratulations to Jo and Sam. Wishing you a long and happy life together!
