Kirsty & Tom had an August wedding at The Priory in Little Wymondley. I was looking forward to Kirsty and Tom’s wedding as I had a great time on their pre-wedding shoot at Willen Lake in Milton Keynes back in June.
My coverage of the wedding day began with bride prep at Kirsty’s parent’s house in Luton. Kirsty had her hair and makeup done and was joined by her two bridesmaids, parents and her brother.
Kirsty and Tom had opted for an open-air wedding ceremony in the grounds of The Priory. The ceremony was lovely and ended with all their guests lining up along the aisle to throw confetti over the newlyweds. After lots of congratulatory hugs and kisses, Kirsty and Tom went for a short drive in their Rolls Royce wedding car. On their return, I took group photos of the couple with their family and friends and took a large group photo of the newlyweds with all of their wedding guests.
The barn was beautifully decorated for wedding breakfast. Tom is a lighting programmer so lighting was always going to be a major feature in the dressing of the barn for the wedding. The barn looked fantastic with Tom’s festoon lighting on the ceiling and up-lighters around the sides of the barn.
After the wedding breakfast guests head outside and were surprised to find a selection of carnival-style games including a coconut shy and splat the rat which were all provided by Dolly Dimples Weddings. The carnival games were great fun to photograph as the games got quite competitive!
