Alison and Glenn’s wedding was on the 17th December 2016 and was my last wedding before Christmas. I will always remember the wedding as it was such a foggy day from start to finish!
I started my coverage of the day photographing Alison as she prepared for the ceremony at her home in Watford. I love the photos of her in the morning as she got ready with the help of her mum. Alison looked stunning! She had a beautiful red rose and pine cone bouquet which was perfect for her Christmas time wedding.

Alison and Glenn’s wedding ceremony took place at St Paul’s Church in Langleybury. Alison and her Dad arrived at the church in a vintage Daimler Limousine and were greeted by Alison’s son and her flower girl who were both brimming with excitement.
Following the service, the couple were congratulated by all their guests before heading to West Herts Golf Club for their wedding reception.
West Herts Golf Club
On arrival at the golf club, I took a few portraits of the couple. The thick fog limited the photographic opportunities, but I made use of it and turned it into a feature resulting in a stunning and unique photo of the couple kissing surrounded by the white fog.
Alison and Glenn had embraced the Christmas theme for their wedding. Table names were the names of Santa’s reindeer the head table, of course, being Rudolf. Candy canes were used as wedding favours. The clubhouse looked great!
There were lots of children at the wedding, so Alison and Glenn had hired a magician to entertain them during the reception.
The evening was rounded off with the couple’s first dance to ‘Make It To Me’ by Sam Smith.
Congratulations to Alison and Glenn! Wishing you both a long and happy married life.
