“Andy was absolutely brilliant”

“Andy did the photography at our wedding at Theobalds Park, Ridings Barn. He was absolutely brilliant, very professional and was very relaxed with everyone when taking the photos of the day.

We were very impressed with the photos we got and they were delivered really quickly after the day. We felt he really captured the atmosphere of the day and we would highly recommend Andy to everyone for their photography.”

Theobalds Estate, Ridings Barn Wedding

Di and Si tied the knot at St Monica’s Church in Palmers Green before heading to their wedding reception at Riding’s Barn at Theobalds Estate in Hertfordshire.

My day started taking groom prep photos of Si as he prepared for the day at his parent’s house. I took detail shots of the rings and a few photos of Si doing up his necktie (with a little help from a friend) before I had to move on to start coverage of bridal prep as I was the sole wedding photographer.

On arriving at Di’s family home, they made me very welcome. I photographed wedding details, including Di’s wedding dress and her bouquet of sunflowers. I then photographed Di and her bridesmaids as they had their hair a make-up done.

The wedding ceremony took place at St Monica’s Church in Palmers Green, after which the wedding party made their way to Riding’s Barn at Theobalds Park for the wedding reception. The couple had a gorgeous Roll’s Royce, and their guests travelled in a Routemaster bus.

Guests sat down to wedding breakfast and were shown a very sweet Disney themed slideshow prepared by the couple, which told the story of how Di and Si had met and fell in love.

After the slideshow followed wedding speeches from the father of the bride, father of the groom, Di’s two best friends and Si’s two best men. The speeches were fantastic and included a sing-along and the presentation of framed memento of Di beating Si at the marathon.

I had a lovely time photographing Di and Si’s wedding at Theobalds Park and would like to wish them a lifetime of happiness as Mr and Mrs Kelly!
