Vicky and John’s tied the knot on a rather wet day in early June at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel.
The forecast was for rain all day so I had packed my rain jacket and brolly and expected the worst!
My coverage of the day started with bride prep in the Jersey Royal in the Potato Shed. Vicky had her hair and makeup done and then we had then along with her Dad and bridesmaids made a run to the Tythe Barn under the cover of umbrellas for the start of the formalities.
The wedding ceremony took place in the Tythe Barn. The ceremony was lovely with a few misspoken words in the vows which led to a few giggles.
After the ceremony guests enjoyed drinks in the bar and were entertained by Ed the magician who went from group to group performing tricks.
Wedding breakfast was served in the Tythe Barn. The barn was beautifully decorated with Apple Blossom trees used as table centrepieces. John had created table numbers and a table plan out of Lego which looked fantastic and helped put the couple’s personal touch on the day.
Thankfully the weather wasn’t as bad as the forecast! During the meal, the rain stopped so we jumped at the opportunity and head outside for a few portraits with the bride and groom.
The evening celebrations kicked off with the cutting of the cake and then the first dance.
I had a lovely time photographing Vicky and John’s Tewin Bury Farm wedding. Congratulations to Vicky and John!!
