“The pictures are amazing”

“Andy was a delight to work with from the day we enquired about our wedding. He was happy to answer any questions we had and helped us get the best out of our wedding photography. The pictures are amazing considering the majority were not posed and captured the atmosphere of the day perfectly.

Choosing a wedding photographer is difficult but I cannot recommend Andy enough.”

Natalie & Phil

Tewin Bury Farm Wedding

Natalie and Phil got married on the May bank holiday weekend. They had the most lovely day, tying the knot at St. Etheldreda’s Church in Hatfield followed by a great fun wedding reception at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel.

My coverage of their wedding day started with Natalie as she had her bridal hair and makeup was done in the bridal suite at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel.

Natalie was joined by her Mum and her bridesmaids, Emma, Bryony, Sarah and Charlotte. It was a good fun morning with lots of bubbles and giggles.

Natalie and Phil had a second photographer as part of their wedding photography package. My second photographer covered groom prep at Phil’s home in Hatfield before Phil, and his groomsmen made the way to The Eight Bells for some Dutch courage.

The wedding ceremony took place at St. Etheldreda’s Church in Old Hatfield. Natalie arrived in a 1930s style Beauford Tourer and looked stunning in her dress from Brides-2-B. At the end of the ceremony guests gathered for a confetti shot outside the church doors. I then took a few group photos before everyone made their way over to wedding reception at Tewin Bury.

It was a beautiful sunny day, so guests were served Pimms and lemonade in the Farmhouse Gardens. During this time I took lots of reportage style shots of the guests enjoying the day before taking portraits of Natalie and Phil in the gardens.

Wedding breakfast was served in the Stable. The Stable is a perfect setting for intimate weddings and celebrations. It is a 17th Century building full of character.

The room was beautifully decorated for the wedding breakfast. Tables were numbered based on important dates for the newlyweds.

During his speech, the Father of the Bride presented Natalie and Phil with a very special letter from the Watford FC captain Troy Deeney, wishing the couple all the best for their wedding day.

Following the meal, I took Natalie and Phil out for some more portraits as the light was just perfect.

The evening party was kicked off by cutting the cake and the couple’s first dance which was a mix of Latch by Sam Smith with Disclosure’s version of the song.

I had a lovely time as Natalie and Phil’s Tewin Bury Farm wedding photographer.
