St Albans Wedding

We would highly recommend Andy as your wedding photographer, he really captured the atmosphere of our special day and we couldn’t be happier with the photos. He was incredibly friendly and helpful from the start offering up ideas and suggestions on getting the best shots from the day. Andy arrived bang on time and was really unobtrusive as he mingled round our guests which made everyone feel comfortable leaving us with the most relaxed, fun images from the day. Thank you Andy.

Ruth and Simon’s wedding at St Albans Registry office followed by their reception at The King Harry Pub in St Albans.

My coverage of the wedding day started with meeting Ruth and Simon at their home in St Albans. We went straight out to the local park for a few portraits and then returned and waited for the arrival of a vintage Routemaster London bus. Ruth and Simon had arranged the Routemaster Bus to take them to St Albans Registry Office and had arranged to collect their family and friends on the way.

On arrival guests made there way into the registry office while I took a few portraits of Ruth and Simon in the Routemaster Bus.

The wedding ceremony started with Ruth and Simon walking down the aisle together, holding hands. It was a lovely ceremony which had plenty of nervous laughter. After the ceremony, everyone had a glass of bubbly outside the front of the registry office and I took photos of the guests mingling and then group photos in front of the building.

We then head back into the bus for the journey to The King Harry pub for the wedding reception. Guests enjoyed a sit down meal and then enjoyed drinks into the evening.

Congratulations to Ruth and Simon!
