Below is a selection of Rickmansworth wedding photography from Joni and Calum’s wedding at Moor Park Mansion and their Tipi wedding reception at Woodoaks Farm. If you are looking for a Rickmansworth wedding photographer and like what you see, please get in touch.
Joni and Calum tied the knot at Moor Park Mansion before heading to their tipi wedding reception at Woodoaks Farm in Rickmansworth. It was my second time photographing a wedding at Moor Park Mansion, I was previously there photographing Fran and Malc’s wedding which also had a tipi wedding reception.
Moor Park Mansion Wedding Photography
My coverage of the wedding day started at Moor Park Manor photographing Joni as she prepared for the wedding day along with her bridesmaids. Joni looked fantastic in a blue waistcoat and blazer.
The wedding ceremony took place in the Thornhill Room. It was a lovely wedding ceremony.
During the wedding reception, guests enjoyed tea and pastries in the Main Hall. I took group photos of the bride’s and groom’s family and friends and then took portraits of the newlyweds in the gardens and in the Mansion before heading to Woodoaks Farm in Rickmansworth for the wedding reception.
Tipi Wedding Reception at Woodoaks Farm
On arrival at Woodoaks Farm, I took detail shots of the interior of the Tipi, it looked wonderful! The tables were decorated with beautiful flowers and had puppets on each table which had been handmade by Joni and her friends on her hen do.
It was a gloriously sunny day, so it was perfect for a Tipi wedding reception. Guests played card games in the sun and kids were entertained by a tour of the farm.
A band comprising of Joni and Calum’s friends performed in the evening, their set started with a cover of ‘The Bear Necessities’ which was Joni and Calum’s first dance. Later Joni and Calum got on stage to perform their own funky song ended in Joni crowd surfing off the stage!
The evening was rounded off with performances from a number of guests. Joni and Calum had asked willing guests to perform at the wedding rather than giving them wedding gifts. What a talented bunch of friends and family they have. Performances included singing, poetry, a short story and fire spinning. Highlights for me included a very tongue in cheek performance of ‘My Heart Will Go On’ played on the recorder and a performance of ‘The Hokey Cokey’ which resulted in a packed dance floor!
I had a great time photographing Joni and Calum’s wedding day. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
