“Andy was fantastic”

“We booked the platinum package for our wedding in August and could not have asked for a better photographer.

Andy was fantastic, so lovely and friendly and such a help on the day and beforehand and our pictures were absolutely beautiful. All our guests have been raving about him and would definitely recommend him to anyone I know getting married.”

Watford Wedding Photography

My coverage of Stevie and Charlie’s wedding started with Stevie as I photographed her on the morning of her wedding day. She was getting ready in a hotel room at the Mercure London Watford Hotel with her bridesmaids and flower girls. It was a busy room; all the girls were helping get each other ready with Stevie’s sister Selina on hair duty and her maid of honour, Tina on makeup duty and all the girls helping to get the flower girls ready. The morning produced one of my favourite ever bride prep photos, a shot of the Stevie and her bridesmaid’s all busy combing and braiding the flower girls hair. Stevie looked stunning in a dress from Boxmoor Bridal Boutique.

While I was busy photographing bride prep, my second photographer was with Charlie at the Watford Hilton shooting groom prep. Charlie was getting ready with his son, Jackson, and his best men and ushers.

The wedding ceremony was in the Aldenham Suite. It was a lovely ceremony.

Following the ceremony, guests made their way outside for a drinks reception during this time I took candid shots of the guests and portraits of Stevie and Charlie in the garden.

Wedding breakfast was served in the Halliwell Suite. Following the meal, speeches were given by the father of the bride, Charlie, the best man and maid of honour. The speeches were full of laughs and were heckled lots.

After speeches, everyone returned to the garden to enjoy the late afternoon sun.

The evening party started with the cutting of the cake on the dance floor and then Stevie and Charlie’s first dance to ‘Halo’ by Beyoncé.

I had a fantastic time as Stevie and Charlie’s Watford wedding photographer. If you would like to see more of their wedding, please check out the slideshow of highlights at the bottom of the page.
