Louise and Rob tied the knot on Valentine’s day. Their wedding ceremony took place at St Michael & All Angels Church in Watford and was followed by their wedding reception at Laura Ashley, The Manor Hotel in Elstree.
I was a second photographer for the day, assisting Leighton Buzzard wedding photographer, Lewis Duncan. My day started photographing Louise as she had her hair and make-up done for the day at her family home in Croxley.
Rob was preparing for the day at the Watford Premier Inn so we popped over to there to quickly take a few portraits of him and his grooms men before heading back to Croxley to get more coverage of Louise’s day.
Rob and his ushers serve in the Royal Navy, so they were all dressed in uniform for the big day. We wanted to reflect his work in his portraits so photographed him near some big air vents which gave a real industrial feel to his portraits.
The church service was lovely. St Michael & All Angels Church is a truly beautiful church.
My favourite photograph from the day is picture of Louise and Rob walking back down the aisle arm in arm. Louise has a beaming smile and Rob is looking proudly at his new wife.
Following the church service the guests made their way to the wedding reception in Elstree.
Laura Ashley, The Manor Hotel Wedding Photography
Laura Ashley, The Manor Hotel is a stunning Tudor house and a fantastic Hertfordshire wedding venue.
The bride and groom were greeted to the venue by a Manuel impersonator (from Fawlty Towers). After which we took portraits of the couple posing next to their wedding car a vintage Rolls Royce.
Congratulations to Louise and Rob on their Valentine’s Day wedding!
