I had a fantastic time as Louise and Peter’s Aldwickbury Park wedding photographer. View below to see a selection of wedding photography from their big day.
Louise and Peter got married at the excellent Aldwickbury Park Golf Club, on the outskirts of Harpenden.
Louise got ready at her home in St Albans with her daughter Emily, and her flower girls. She wore a beautiful dress from The Wedding Gallery. Peter got prepared at Aubrey Park Hotel with his son Jack and his best man.
The wedding ceremony took place at Aldwickbury Park it was a lovely ceremony with both Emily and Jack helping out. They both led the procession at the start of the service. Jack also had the important duty of being the ring bearer.
Signing the register was the most memorable part of the ceremony for me. After the bride and groom had completed the wedding paperwork, Emily and Jack sat with them for a posed photo. At that point, Jack let off a fart and then when questioned, cheekily blamed me, shouting out, “It was Andy!!” :o) This led to lots of laughs and some great candid photos.
The weather forecast for the day was for a very wet, windy day, so at the end of the ceremony, as it was dry, we head straight out to take portraits of the newlyweds. I then took group photos and took candid shots of the guests enjoying the reception.
The evening party kicked off with the cutting of a spectacular wedding cake. The cake featured caricature toppers of Louise, Peter, Jack, and Emily. After the cutting of the wedding cake, Louise and Peter had their first dance and were soon joined by guests on a packed dance floor.
I thoroughly enjoyed photographing Louise and Peter’s wedding. It was a wonderful fun wedding to be part of.
