Sarah and Daniel celebrated their wedding at Tylney Hall in Hook following their church ceremony in Hartley Wintney.
It was an extra special wedding for me as my sister is close friends with Sarah and had the role of being a witness to the marriage. The wedding also involved my niece, who was one of Sarah’s flower girls.
The wedding ceremony was at The Church of St Thomas More, a lovely modern Roman Catholic Church in Hartley Wintney. The church has a bright blue wall behind the altar, which provides a lovely backdrop for wedding photos! I particularly love the photos of Sarah and Daniel’s reactions during the priest’s sermon, which I framed, so that Sarah was behind the blue background and Daniel was behind a white background.
The wedding reception was at Tylney Hall. Guests enjoyed champagne on the terrace overlooking the Italian gardens while flower girls enjoyed playing a game of hide-and-seek. It was a lovely reception with a string quartet providing a lovely atmosphere. During the reception, I took group photos of the bride and groom together with their bridal party and family.
Wedding breakfast was served in the Chestnut Suite. The couple were announced into the room by the toastmaster and went straight to the cutting of the cake and then sat down for speeches. After the meal, I took the couple for a walk around the gardens, stopping off for portraits in the Dutch gardens and by the lake in the Water Garden.
The evening was kicked off with the first dance to “Turn Me On” by Nina Simone, and then the Road Runners Band entertained a packed dance floor for the rest of the evening.
Many congratulations to Sarah and Daniel & Thank you for having me as your Tylney Hall wedding photographer!
