Corina and Kalpesh tied the knot at a lovely Froyle Park wedding on a gloriously sunny day in Upper Froyle, Hampshire.
It was my second time as a Froyle Park wedding photographer. My last visit provided many of my favourite shots from last year, so I had been looking forward to my return visit ever since Corina and Kalpesh booked me to cover their civil ceremony.
Not only was it my second time photographing a wedding at Froyle Park, but it was also my second time shooting Corina and Kalpesh, as I had photographed their Hindu wedding ceremony a couple of days earlier.
My coverage of the wedding day started with me photographing Corina in the bridal suite while her hair and makeup was being done and as she prepared for her wedding day along with her bridesmaids, flower girls and page boy.
The civil ceremony took place in the Great Hall. The Great Hall is a stunning ceremony location as it has a spectacular staircase for the bride to make her entrance down. Corina looked stunning as she walked down the stairs. Corina’s Dad and Step-Dad walked her down the aisle, and both were beaming with pride. The ceremony was lovely and included readings from the couple’s close friends and a performance by Corina’s Dad on guitar.
Following the ceremony, the wedding guests enjoyed a drinks reception in the gardens. I arranged a confetti shot and following this we took ten or so group shots that the bride and groom had requested. The couple and I then took a walk along the tree-lined drive to take some lovely natural couple portraits before heading back for the wedding breakfast. After the wedding breakfast, speeches were given by Kalpesh, Corina’s two brothers and Kalpesh’s two best men.
In the evening I took the couple out for a night time shot by the magnificent Cherry Blossom Tree, it was one of my favourite pictures from the day and was the last shot before leaving the couple to enjoy the rest of the celebrations.
Congratulations to Corina and Kalpesh, wishing you the most amazing future together!
