“Our photos are so beautiful and natural”

“We can’t thank Andy and his second photographer enough for our precious photos that captured every moment.

Andy especially has been amazing and patient with all our requests in making our album perfect.

I have received so many comments from friends that they would choose Andy for their weddings as our photos are so beautiful and natural.

Andy had some challenges with getting all our shots captured in a limited time but he did it with complete chillness and style.”

Notley Tythe Barn Wedding

Below is a selection of Notley Tythe Barn wedding photography from Nicola and Michael’s wedding.

My wedding photography coverage of the day started in Pitstone. I photographed Nicola as she had her wedding hair and makeup done. Nicola was joined by her bridesmaids, her flower girls and her family. Nicola and her dad travelled to Notley Tythe Barn in style in a 1936 Rolls Royce Open Tourer.

While I was with Nicola, my second photographer provided coverage of Michael as he prepared for the wedding. Michael got ready at the Travel Lodge in Thame. He was joined by his brother, Phil, who was his best man.

The wedding ceremony was lovely, with lots of nervous giggles throughout. At the end of the service, the couple was showered with confetti as they walked back along the aisle.

After the ceremony, I took loads of candid shots of the guests congratulating the couple. We then took the wedding car down the drive and stopped off for some portraits. Following this, I took group shots of the newlyweds with their family and friends.

Wedding breakfast was served in the barn. The barn was decorated with a beach theme, tables were named after different UK beaches that Nicola and Michael have visited together. The room looked amazing!

At the end of the meal, as the light was perfect, I took Nicola and Michael out for another short portrait session. I often like to split up portrait sessions into short quick sessions on a wedding day as I don’t want to take newlyweds away from their party and guests for too long.

The evening was kicked off with cutting the cake and then the first dance to Ed Sheeran, “Thinking Out Loud”. A nice touch was that Nicola and Michael were joined by their eldest daughter, Amelia towards the end of the song. The dance floor was soon filled and guests enjoyed a good dance and also enjoyed posing for photos using a Polaroid camera.
