Katherine & Seán had an August wedding at Holy Rood Church in Watford and followed it with their De Vere Latimer Estate wedding reception.
My photographic coverage of Katherine and Seán’s wedding began in Watford at Katherine’s family home.
The wedding ceremony was held at Holy Rood Church in Watford town centre. Holy Rood is a beautiful church which was designed by John Francis Bentley, who also designed Westminster Cathedral.
After the service, everyone made their way into the Parish Centre garden and lined up in two lines to create a tunnel for the bride and groom to walk through for a confetti shot. There was a tonne of confetti!
Everyone then made their way to Latimer Estate for the wedding reception. On arrival, I photographed Katherine and Seán with their wedding car at the front of the venue. Guests were served champagne and canapes on the lawn. During the reception, I took reportage style shots of the guests enjoying the glorious weather and then took formal group shots on the lawn overlooking the River Chess. I also took a group shot of the bride and groom with all their guests with the venue in the background.
Wedding breakfast was served in the Cavendish Suite and was followed by some very funny speeches.
One feature I just love about Latimer Estate is it’s lovely staircase so we made use of it and took some portraits on the stairs.
Evening entertainment was provided by the band Pandora’s Jukebox who were fantastic!
Many congratulations to Katherine and Seán! If you would like to see more of Katherine and Seán’s wedding, please check out the slideshows at the bottom of the page.
