Kimberley and Joe’s had a Chicheley Hall wedding on a glorious summers day.
I had previously met up with Kimberley and Joe on their engagement photography shoot at Ashridge in Hertfordshire. We had a fantastic time on the shoot, so I was really excited for their wedding day.
My day started taking detail and bridal preparation photos of Kimberley in the lovely bridal suite at Chicheley Hall. Kimberley had selected a stunning wedding dress which was embellished with French lace and Swarovski crystals.
Joe prepared for the day in a room below the bridal suite so it was ideal for me, as it allowed me to capture both of them preparing for the day. It also allowed me to capture their reactions as they opened gifts that they had exchanged with each other.
The ceremony took place in the ballroom which is a gorgeous setting with a large staircase for the bride to walk down as she enters the room. The ceremony was lovely and featured readings from Kimberley’s niece and cousin.
After the ceremony, wedding guests spilled out onto the lawn for a champagne reception. They enjoyed the afternoon sun playing games, including; quoits, giant badminton and connect four. During the reception I took group portraits of Kimberley and Joe’s family and friends and then took a walk around the grounds with the couple taking a few portraits.
Chicheley Hall is a stunning Buckinghamshire wedding venue with plenty of photographic opportunities. It has a beautiful driveway which is ideal for portraits and has a large duck pond which is again ideal for portraits.
I had a lovely time as Kimberley and Joe’s photographer. It was lovely to meet all of the couple’s friends and family. I would like to wish the couple a lifetime of happiness together as husband and wife!
