Jane & David tied the knot at Chartridge Lodge, in Buckinghamshire. I was a second photographer for the day, assisting Berkshire based wedding photographer, Kathryn Fell.
My day started by taking photographs of the dining room which was setup for the wedding breakfast. I then took portraits of David and his groomsmen in the gardens while Kathryn covered Jane’s preparations for the day.
The couple had a civil ceremony at Chartridge Lodge followed by a blessing in a religious service. During the ceremonies, I provided a second angle from the primary photographer. Wedding photography packages with a second photographer can offer the couple a lot more variety in their wedding photos.
After the service guests spilt out into the beautiful gardens. Thankfully it was a lovely sunny day for the wedding. It had been an awful week of weather proceeding the wedding day, so I had been keeping a close eye on the weather forecast for the day as I’m sure both Jane and David had been.
Chartridge Lodge Wedding Photography
Chartridge Lodge is a lovely Buckinghamshire wedding venue, with plenty of photographic opportunities as it has 25 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds.
During the wedding reception, Kathryn took group photos of friends and family. As a second shooter during the wedding reception, my primary job was to capture lots of smiles and interaction between guests in a documentary style.
I love documentary style wedding photography as I enjoy photographing people interacting with each other.
One of my favourite photos from the day was a picture of a lady who had been taking pictures of the groups with her compact camera. She then realised I had been photographing her and her reaction was priceless.

Congratulations to Jane & David on becoming husband and wife, wishing you all the best for your future together.
