Natalie and Phil got married on the bank holiday weekend in May 2017. They had the most lovely day, tying the knot at St. Etheldreda's Church in Hatfield followed by a great fun wedding reception at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel.
Tewin Bury Farm Wedding
Natalie and Phil got married on the bank holiday weekend in May 2017. My coverage of their wedding day started with Natalie as she had her bridal hair and makeup done in the bridal suite at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel.
Natalie was joined by her Mum and her bridesmaids, Emma, Bryony, Sarah and Charlotte. It was a good fun morning with lots of bubbles and giggles.
Natalie and Phil had a second photographer as part of their wedding photography package. My second photographer covered groom prep at Phil's home in Hatfield before Phil and his groomsmen made the way to The Eight Bells for some dutch courage.
The wedding ceremony took place at St. Etheldreda's Church in Old Hatfield. Natalie arrived in a 1930s style Beauford Tourer and looked stunning in her dress from Brides-2-B. At the end of the ceremony guests gathered for a confetti shot outside the church doors. I then took a few group photos before everyone made their way over to wedding reception at Tewin Bury.
It was a beautiful sunny day so guests were served Pimms and lemonade in the Farmhouse Gardens. During this time I took lots of reportage style shots of the guests enjoying the day before taking portraits of Natalie and Phil in the gardens.
Wedding breakfast was served in the Stable. The Stable is a perfect setting for intimate weddings and celebrations. It is a 17th Century building full of character.
The room was beautifully decorated for wedding breakfast. Tables were numbered based on important dates for the newlyweds. The table plan was accompanied by the couple's story... which I just loved.
We went on our first date to London Zoo on 28th April 2013. Not long after we were a couple on 14th May 2013. We knew it was love on 9th June 2013, when we were on one of our many trips to the South Coast. Since then, we have been on 10 City Breaks!
The start of what has been domestic bliss (most of the time!) started on 5th April 2014.
He put a ring on it on 13th November 2015 and finally today 27th May 2017 is the day we officially become a team forever.
The bride and groom are both huge Watford F.C. fans so they had personalised cake toppers which featured the groom wearing a Watford shirt and bride in her wedding dress wearing a yellow and black Watford scarf.
Watford F.C. made another appearance at the Natalie and Phil's wedding in the form of a very special letter from the Watford captain Troy Deeney, wishing the couple all the best for their wedding day.
Following the meal, I took Natalie and Phil out for some more portraits as the light was just perfect.
The evening party was kicked off by cutting the cake and the couple's first dance which was Latch by Sam Smith which was mixed at the end with the Disclosure version of the song.
I had lovely time as Natalie and Phil's Tewin Bury Farm wedding photographer. If you would like to see more of my work from the day please check out the highlight slideshow in the video below.
