Kathy & Ed's Wedding at Lillibrooke Manor

Kathy and Ed tied the knot at Lillibrooke Manor in Maidenhead, Berkshire. It was my second visit to the venue. The first occasion was Katharine and Steve's wedding which was my very first wedding photography job when I started off in 2013. I was a second photographer for Kathy and Ed's Lillibrooke Manor wedding, assisting fellow photographer Kathryn Fell.

My day started taking photographs of the groom as he welcomed guests while Kathryn shot Kathy as she had her makeup done.

The couple had a civil ceremony in the Small Barn. During the wedding ceremony, I provided a second angle from Kathryn and was shooting the ceremony from the back of the barn.

After the service, guests enjoyed a drinks reception inside the Engine House. Guests were entertained by a magician who went from group to group performing tricks. It was great fun working alongside him capturing reactions to his tricks.

The Great Barn was the setting for wedding breakfast, it was beautifully decorated with festoon lighting. The tables looked fantastic with table numbers made from multiple corks that had been glued together.

The Father of the bride, groom and best man all gave speeches, I love photographing people during the speeches as I'm always looking out for the best reactions to stories and jokes it really keeps you on your toes.

I had a lovely time photographing Kathy and Ed's wedding. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
