It was a real honour and privilege to be the wedding photographer for Katharine and Steve’s wedding day.
Katharine and Steve tied the knot at Holy Rood church in Watford, Hertfordshire and celebrated their wedding reception at Lillibrooke Manor, in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
My day started photographing Katharine as she prepared for the day at her parent’s house in Watford. She looked amazing!
Holy Rood Church, Watford
The ceremony was held at Holy Rood Church a beautiful Roman Catholic church in Watford town centre. The church was absolutely packed with Katharine and Steve’s friends and family. The church service was lovely.
Unfortunately by the end of the service it had turned into quite a wet day. We took a few group portraits under the porch at the church before heading off to Maidenhead for the wedding reception.
By the time we arrived at Lillibrooke Manor it was tipping it down so the reception plans of a courtyard Champagne reception had to be changed to a reception in one of Lillibrooke Manor’s barns. As it was too wet to go outside with the guests I took group photos against the wall of the barn. Towards the end of the champagne reception the rain started to ease up so Katharine, Steve and I decided to head out into the grounds armed with umbrellas for a few portraits.
The wedding breakfast was served in the main barn which was beautifully decorated. The day ended with Lillibrooke Manor in full swing as the guests danced the evening away to an Irish Ceilidh band.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Fitzpatrick!
