Tesa and Avi wed on the 1st October at Shendish Manor. My coverage of the wedding day started with Tesa photographing her as she prepared for the wedding day in Shendish Manor’s bridal suite. Tesa looked lovely in her saree.
The couple had two ceremonies, a civil ceremony followed by a Hindu wedding blessing both of which took place in the Apsley Suite. The Apsley Suite was beautifully decorated by Gayatri Weddings. At the end of the civil ceremony, guests were given bubble wands and the couple exited the room with all their guests blowing bubbles. This was a lovely touch and is a great idea for anyone wanting to use confetti if there are restrictions at their wedding venue. The couple then re-entered the room for the Hindu wedding ceremony.
As the weather forecast wasn’t great for the day, as soon as the couples had walked back down the aisle for the second time I whisked them away for some outdoor portraits of the newlyweds.
Then with the help of the Avi’s best men, we gathered wedding guests for a group shot of everybody. As it started to rain we then decided to head inside to the Dickinson Suite for some more formal group shots of Tesa and Avi with their family.
Wedding breakfast was served in the Apsley Suite and speeches were given between the courses. There was also entertainment in the form of Indian dancing by the extremely talented members of the Dancing Nikita Company.
The evening party started after the final speech of the day given by Avi’s best man. Tesa and Avi danced to ‘Crazy Love’ by Van Morrison.
